Woman Allegedly Finds Strange Man Asleep in Her Bed, Calls Police: Cedar Falls Police Blotter

Police arrested a man they said broke into the home of a woman he did not know and slept in her bed.

Early in the morning on Jan. 20 a woman called the police after she said she heard her back door breaking and found a strange man asleep in her bed. Police said the man, Andrew David Warner, 22, of Waterloo, was still in bed when they arrived.

Police said Warner had left a downtown bar on foot and blacked out. He allegedly shattered a window on the woman's door, causing an estimated $200 to $500 in damages.

Warner was arrested at 1302 W. 19th St. at 5:59 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass and fourth degree criminal mischief.

Tonya Christine Larsen, female, 19, of 604 W. 18th St., arrested at 7:05 p.m. at 6301 Unversity Ave., charged with fifth degree theft and violation of no contact order.

Addison James Taft, male, 19, of 1925 Sunnyside Drive, arrested at 7:52 p.m. at same location, charged with fifth degree theft and violation of no contact order.

Michael Ray Willett, male, 53, of 3501 Dallas Drive, arrested at 9:18 p.m. at 220 Clay St., charged with assault domestic serious.

James Richard Caldwell, male, 27, of 700-306 W. Ridgeway Ave., arrested at 9:55 p.m. at 220 Clay St., charged with assault domestic simple.

Rhett James Wuchter, male, 21, of New Hampton, arrested at 2:02 a.m. at 23rd Street and Indiana Street, charged with operating while intoxicated/drugged first.

Jan. 20:

Hari Rajendran, male, 32, of 2510 Neola St., arrested at 1:10 a.m. at same location, charged with operating while intoxicated/drugged first.

Chase Andrew Skoneczka, male, 18, of Palo, arrested at 1:23 a.m. at 615 Main St., charged with consumption in public/intox.

Jan. 21:

Jordan Caroline Waggett, female, 23, of 1321 Walnut St., arrested at 2:10 a.m. at Seventh Street and Main Street, charged with operating while intoxicated/drugged first.

Jan. 22:

Winston B Tucker, male, 23, of Waterloo, arrested at 10:07 a.m. at Black Hawk County Jail, charged with third degree theft.

David Charles Smith II, male, 30, of 2925 Cypress Ave., arrested at 4:18 p.m. at Primemart, charged with assault domestic serious.

Jan. 23:

Ashley Kae Wageman, female, 23, of 115-1 W. 15th St., arrested at 2:31 a.m. at 1000 block of Washington Street, charged with possesion of marijuana and consumption in public/intox.
