• Dubuque City Council votes to end service with Denver Air Connection in 2026 (cbs2iowa.com) — Dubuque’s only commercial air service to Chicago is set to end Jan. 15, 2026, after the City Council voted 5–1 to terminate its contract with Denver Air Connection. The move follows lower-than-needed ridership and could jeopardize millions in federal funds for Dubuque Regional Airport improvements, including runway maintenance, if replacement service isn’t secured.
   

• Iowa Wrestling Weekend That Was: University of Northern Iowa continues home success with win over Missouri (thegazette.com) — Western Dubuque’s wrestlers stayed perfect by dominating their home Bobcat Duals in Epworth, while Dubuque Hempstead tied for third at the Iowa City Duals.
