The College Bowl Game season is nearing its completion.

Our very own University of Iowa may not be going to a postseason bowl game for the first time since 2000, but there are plenty of intriguing football bowl games on the schedule this year. We've got your complete list here, along with notes on teams featuring players who played their prep ball in Iowa. Cedar Rapids Kennedy grad Christian French is a defensive back for Oregon Ducks. French was drafted as a tight end but has converted to defense since arriving at Oregon. Jesse Ertz, a Mediapolis senior quarterback, has committed to Kansas State.

AT&T Cotton Bowl, Oklahoma vs. Texas A&M

January 4, 7 p.m., FOX

Ben Cotton, a former Ames High standout, is a senior tight end for Nebraska.
