Sorority Holds Breast Cancer Awareness Run in Iowa City

A local sorority is holding a its 13th annual run to support breast cancer awareness.

October is breast cancer awareness month.

Zeta Tau Alpha are raising awareness by hosting their 13th annual ZTA 5K run and walk. Donations will support Susan G. Komen for the Cure on behalf of the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation. Participants will receive a race pack, t-shirt (while supplies last) and will have an opportunity to bid on silent auction items. Prizes will be awarded to top male/female finishers.

The run or walk is on Oct. 21 at 11:30 a.m. in Iowa City. Kerry Diminuco is the director.
