City High School's Little Hawk newspaper has been named as one of 50 finalists for the National Scholastic Press Association's (NSPA) Online Pacemaker contest.

City High School’s Little Hawk newspaper has been named as one of 50 finalists for the National Scholastic Press Association’s (NSPA) Online Pacemaker contest, selected from a record 252 entries. National Pacemaker Awards are considered to be the highest honors in student journalism. Online competitions are judged based on website design, navigation, writing/editing, graphics and interactivity. Winners will be announced at the spring Journalist Education Association / NSPA convention in San Francisco on April 27. The Little Hawk website (www.thelittlehawk.com) earned Pacemaker finalist in 2011 and 2012.
