Public Works Director Rick Fosse said Thursday that city staff will present the report from HDR Engineering, which explores flood mitigation options for the Idyllwild-Taft Speedway-Parkview Church neighborhood, to the City Council during its work session Tuesday. Fosse said city staff likely will make a recommendation about how the council should proceed with preventing future flooding in the area, but declined to say Thursday what that recommendation will be.

“I’ll wait until the meeting,” Fosse said.
