(GALLERY) Costumed Tots Take Over Scanlon Gym for Halloween Monster Mash
Crafts, games, and tricycle madness could be seen throughout the gym this morning as costumed children descended up the gym.

A Tots Monster Mash was held this morning at the Scanlon Gym in Iowa City. Designed for kids aged six and under, and their doting guardians, the monster mash featured games, inflatables, crafts, and free gift bags for kids who arrived in costume. It was a bit of organized chaos as more than 125 tots whirled from activity to activity, Spiderman riding past Spongebob and a score of princesses, while Thomas the Train hung sleeping in his mother's arms.
The event was free to the public and was sponsored by the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department.
