Iowa City and Downtown District to Discuss Downtown Snow Removal at Forum this Afternoon

With Winter Storm Draco bearing down on the area and hopefully producing at least a little snow for all the hype it has gotten, the city government and downtown district are holding a timely meeting coordinating free downtown snow removal.

The discussion will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Iowa City Public Library’s Meeting Room A, 123 S. Linn St.

District Executive Director Nancy Bird and Iowa City Public Works Director Rick Fosse will be co-emcees, hosting a discussion which will include how the new minted Downtown District and the City of Iowa City will be working together to this winter season.
