Iowa City Police: Man Arrested for Purchasing Crack Cocaine in the Hy-Vee Parking Lot
The man was later charged after three crack rocks were found under his tongue.

An Iowa City man is facing misdeamnor drug charges for allegedly purchasing crack cocaine in the First Avenue Hy-Vee parking lot.
Police say that at 8:08 p.m. on Jan. 11, Rosell Saulsberry, 54, of Iowa City, was seen participating in a hand-to-hand drug transaction in the Hy-Vee parking lot. He was later arrested at the 1100 BLOCK of Arthur St. and when searched, had three rocks of crack cocaine under his tongue.
Saulsberry told police that each rock cost $20. He appeared in court on Jan. 11 and was charged and released on Jan. 12. His charged was second offense possession of a controlled substance, an aggravated misdemeanor. His previous drug charge was for possession of crack cocaine in 1992.
