Iowa City Prep Football Preview, Gametimes: Oct. 19

Iowa City West @ Waterloo East 7:15 p.m.

Iowa City West High School pounded Cedar Rapids Jefferson last week 71-14. Tonight #2 ranked undefeated West heads to Waterloo East, currently sitting with a 3-2 record in conference, 5-3 overall. A West High Trojan loss would certainly count as an upset, but the Trojans shouldn't expect an easy game to the rival Trojans of Waterloo East.

Cedar Rapids Kennedy @ City High 7:15 p.m.

City High looks to rebound from a disappointing loss to Linn Mar hosting Cedar Rapids Kennedy. Both teams currently have identical records in the Mississippi Valley division, with City High having a slightly better record overall 4-4, versus 3-2. Kennedy is on a bit of a role, but since City High is at home let's give them the benefit of the doubt.

Sigourney-Keota @ Iowa City Regina 7:00 p.m.

Iowa City Regina is currently ranked #1 in Class 1A and has rarely been challenged over the last few years of dominance. Will some Sigourney-Keota Savage Cobras be able to knock the Regals from their throne?
