Iowa City Ranked a Top 5 Destination for a Great College Experience
Iowa City came in at number four on a list of 75 different schools.
Iowa City has found itself in another top ranking.
The American Institute of Economic Research has named Iowa City the fourth best city in the United States to have a great college experience in its College Destinations Index. The ranking is based on factors such as the people students will be able to meet, the jobs they can get after college, the quality of life, and overall academic environment.
The AIER assembles the top 75 out of an analysis of a larger pool of 227 metros of varying sizes. They somehow placed Ames two spots higher than Iowa City, which must be some sort of mistake, but it is great to be ranked at number four again, as Iowa City was in the previous year's index.
