Iowa City Superintendent Murley Passed Over for Omaha Job
The Omaha School District named another candidate to fill their vacant position Monday night.
It looks like Steve Murley will be staying in Iowa City awhile longer.
KETV Channel 7 is reporting that the Omaha School Board named Mark Evans superintendent of the Omaha School District.
Evans is currently the superintendent of Andover Public Schools in Kansas.

The Iowa City School District had previously announced a little over a week ago that Murley was one of the finalists for the position.
Murley came to the Iowa City School District from the Wasau School District in Wisconsin in 2010.
