Iowa City West versus Bettendorf in the Iowa High School Athletic Associations Final state boys basketball championship. Two undefeated teams going at it for championship, and Iowa City Patch has your guide for how to enjoy the game.

The Setup: A battle of undefeated teams, with both teams 25-0. Both teams have well rounded rosters with stars and key role players. Both teams live off of their stingy defenses.

Bettendorf boasts a talented group of four juniors who will square off against the imposing duo of Division-I recruits Jeremy Morgan and Wyatt Lohaus (both will be playing for the University of Northern Iowa). West High, the defending state champion, is also riding an impressive 51-straight game win streak.

The teams are somewhat accustomed to each other after scrimmaging over winter break. Nobody would reveal which side prevailed.

“They don’t keep score at those type of things,” Lohaus said.

In other words, this should be a fun one to watch.
