Johnson County Sheriff: Drunk Driver Collides with Boat in Woman's Yard in Rural Johnson County
The woman found the man sitting in the vehicle in his still running car after he had gone off the road and collided with her boat.

A Swisher man is facing second-offense operating while intoxicated charges after he allegedly drove off the road at 2748 140th St. at 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 5, 2012.
According to a complaint from the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, James Allen Anderson, 60, was allegedly found in his still running vehicle by a woman who discovered him in the yard of her home after he had apparently gone off the road and collided with her boat.
Once deputies arrived on the scene, Anderson allegedly exhibited signs of intoxication, including smelling of alcohol and having red, bloodshot and watery eyes. Anderson submitted to an alcohol test by blood withdrawal, and his blood-alcohol test returned by the Department of Criminal Investigation was .219.

Although the incident was last year, Anderson was booked into the Johnson County Jail for the offense yesterday, where his bail is shown as still being active, according to online jail records.
Second-offense operating while intoxicated is an aggravated misdemeanor.
