More Snow For the Weekend in Iowa City? But, But It's Spring!
Spring or no spring, we could see more of the white stuff this weekend. But there is also hope for warmer temperatures in the forecast.
I apologize to be a Debbie Downer all over your weekend, Iowa City but despite spring having officially arrived, we could still see more snow the next few weekends.
The National Weather Service predicts a more than 50 percent chance of snow overnight Saturday and into Sunday, with Johnson County just to the north of the Winter Storm Watch alert already declared by the weather service. Meanwhile, AccuWeather says we could get 1 to 3 inches.
However, it should stay fairly warm (yes, all things are relative). And here's a look on the brightside: the forecast calls for temperatures in the mid-to-high 30s most of the week.
