NFL News: Former Iowa Standout Allen Reisner Picked Up By Jaguars After Being Cut By Vikings
Allen Reisner, the former University of Iowa tight end, will continue his NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

A former University of Iowa standout on the gridiron was waved over the weekend but will get a chance to continue his NFL career.
Allen Reisner, 24, a 2007 Marion grad who set the school record for touchdowns, was claimed by the Jacksonville Jaguars after being cut by the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday.
ESPN 1500 reported that the Vikings likely wanted to put Reisner on the practice squad but was claimed off the waiver wire.

Reisner played his college ball as a Hawkeye at the University of Iowa. After school, he was signed by the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2011.
Reisner finished the 2011 season with one catch for five yards and one special teams tackle, and had one catch for 13 yards in 2012.
