Oakdale Correctional Employee Badly Injured by Inmate Kicking Him in Groin
An Oakdale Correctional facility guard was sidelined for a few days after a nasty kick to the groin.

An inmate at the Iowa Medical Classification Center Oakdale Correctional Prison Facility (IMCC) is facing assault charges after giving a prison guard a painful injury.
According to criminal complaints, on Dec. 10 at 2:30 p.m. inmate Robert Gene Rogers, 38, was causing a disturbance while locked inside the IMCC. Rogers, who is listed in the complaint at 263 pounds, kicked a nearby correctional staff member in the groin.
The kick was severe enough that the the IMCC employee had to have medical attention and take a few days off to recover from the injury.

Rogers is charged with assault causing an injury to a peace officer, an aggravated misdemeanor.
