Prepare for the Iowa City Leaf Pickup One Way Streets, Nov. 1
Several streets in the residential neighborhoods near the downtown will need be systematically de-leafed with the help of a police escort on Nov. 1. Check to see times and sides of streets will be affected.
City Release
The leaf removal from the following streets will require the Streets Division to utilize a police escort and will be completed on Thursday, November 1st.
Market Street (south side - odd numbered properties)
Jefferson Street (north side - even numbered properties)
Dodge Street (east side - even numbered properties)
Governor Street (west side - odd numbered properties)
Clapp Street (west side - odd numbered properties)
In order to ensure the pick up of your leaves, please have all piles raked to the curb by 7:00am on Thursday, November 1st.
