Race to 1,000 Likes: Who's It Going to Be – Iowa City or Ankeny?

Alright, Iowa City.

The editor of Ankeny Patch and I have decided to have a race to 1,000 Likes for our respective Patch Facebook pages.

Actually, she badgered me into it. And I'm such a nice guy, I not only relented, I also gave her a day head start so we could start off with the same number of likes. As of the writing of this post, we now sit more or less even and she has the momentum.

So if you haven't liked this site on Facebook yet, head on over and give it a like. If you've already liked it, share it with others, so they can like it as well.

As part of this competition I believe the loser must buy the other editor dinner at a restaurant in the other editor's town and the losing editor must also take a photo in an opposing town's high school jersey-- I think I will make her wear an Iowa City West jersey since Ankeny loses to them all the time. So save me from shame if you want. 

But since I'm not afraid of shame or buying people dinner, really help me because Iowa City Patch's Facebook page is cool. And because Iowa City shouldn't lose to Ankeny in anything. Ever.
