Meanwhile the Iowa Communications Network issued a statement absolving itself from the Website hiccup that occured during the most critical hours after the polls closed at 9 p.m., when the site froze and failed to provide speedy results.
“Oh my God, it’s an absolute embarrassment,” said Democratic Party of Iowa Chairwoman Sue Dvorsky. “We are a swing battleground state. There were multiple scenarios from both sides that had Iowa playing the pivotal role or one of the pivotal roles in the presidential election.”
Dvorsky continued, noting Schultz’s controversial decision to hire a state Division of Criminal Investigation agent to investigate alleged voter fraud that has so far arrested three Council Bluffs residents who are not U.S. citizens but allegedly registered to vote and cast ballots in 2010 and 2011 elections.
