Iowa City Pool to Close in Mid-December; Better Head to Mercer
The pool at Robert A. Lee recreation center is going to be closed for extensive deck resurfacing.
If you want to swim at the Robert A. Lee Recreation Center Pool soon you'd better get there in the next few days.
According to a city release, the rec center's pool will close on Monday December 10th. The pool will remain closed until Saturday December 22nd, allowing workers to drain the pool and resurface the entire deck. This process should take approximately two weeks to complete.
Mercer Park Aquatic Center will remain open as scheduled.
