What's Open and What's Closed on Easter Weekend in Iowa City?
Some changes to City of Iowa City schedules have been announced for this Sunday, March 31, due to Easter.

Some changes to City of Iowa City schedules have been announced for this Sunday, March 31, due to Easter.
RECREATION FACILITIES: All City recreation facilities -- the Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center, Recreation Center Pool, Scanlon Gym, and Mercer Park Aquatic Center -- will be closed on Sunday. Parks will be open. For more information, call 319/356-5100.
PARKING: The Parking Department will be closed on Sunday, so parking will be free, both in ramps and at street meters. For more information, call 319/356-5151.Â
Normal Sunday schedules will be in in effect for other City departments, including the Library, which will be open from noon to 5 p.m., and the Senior Center, which will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and which will be serving senior meals.
All City schedules will return to normal on Monday, April 1.
