I have about 19 mirrors taken from the doors of hotel rooms.
They are about 14 inches wide by 4 feet tall.
No Frames, just mirrors.

These mirrors have some form of "pitting" on them. This may be hair spray, I don't know what will remove this.

A Lot Chatter About HIV Out There in Iowa City Lately. Stay safe regardless

Be careful out there  

Did you know that HIV antibodies can take up to SIX MONTHS to show up on a test, all the while a person is infectious and can pass on the virus? So just because a person has tested negative within the past 6 months, doesn't necessarily mean a damn thing: they can still infect you. 

Let's say, John Q. Public gets a negative test result today. Tomorrow he has unprotected sex with a HIV+ guy and gets the virus. Four months later (still testing negative because it's only been 4 months) he has sex with somebody (maybe you) and it's agreed to (have unsafe sex) because, hey, he has a negative test result! Well, guess what? BAM! You are now infected with a virus you have to take very nasty drugs for the rest of your life to combat. 

The thing that amazes me most about HIV in Iowa City is that there is/are a person/persons who are ANGRY that I've been posting warnings about known HIV+ men telling people they are negative. Due to HIPAA regulations, it is illegal for me to name names, so these warning posts are all I can do under the law. But there are still (expletives) out there who wrote angry replies to me for this public service. I can't believe the ignorance or selfishness or whatever of some people.
