City Of Johnston: Mayor's Run For Food Has Dierenfeld Running 1,132 Miles
Your dollar is stretched further when given to the Johnston Partnership.
December 31, 2021
Mayor Paula Dierenfeld challenged Johnston residents for the eighth year in a row! The Mayor's Run for Food has Dierenfeld running one mile for every bag of food, personal items, or $10 donated to the Johnston Partnership Food Pantry between December 1 and 30, 2021. Her goal was 1,125 miles. We are pleased to announce that she has surpassed that goal and will be running 1,132 miles. Her goal back to herself is to complete those miles by May 15, 2022. Over the eight years of running for food, contributions have totaled $50,320.

Donations can still be made throughout the year.
- Personal Items - Toilet paper, laundry detergent, Kleenex, deodorant, shampoo, and diapers
- Monetary donations are always welcome, as the food pantry can purchase needed items in bulk and cheaper than the rest of the public can buy the same things. Your dollar is stretched further when given to the Johnston Partnership. Monetary donations can also be made online by visiting www.johnstonpartnership.org.
