Man Charged With Intent to Deliver Marijuana: Johnston Police Blotter

Aug. 12:
Police responded to reports that someone had gone through an unlocked vehicle while it was parked at their residence. Nothing was reported stolen.

Aug. 14:
A female juvenile reported someone had hit her vehicle while she was driving and left the scene. Investigation determined juvenile had collided with a parked vehicle and made a false report of hit and run. Juvenile charged with false report and leaving the scene of an accident.
The owner of a vehicle reported someone had ran into the drivers side of his vehicle while it was parked on a roadway. Officers later located female juvenile who was charged with this hit and run.
Jason Eugene Weir, 32, of Des Moines, was arrested for driving while license suspended in the Merle Hay Road/Johnston Drive area.

Zeyad Mohammed Alghool, 18, of Grimes, was arrested for possession of marijuana, schedule I controlled substance, with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia in the NW Beaver Dr/NW 57th Ave. area.
