Assault on a Peace Officer and Drug Charges: Marion Police Blotter

July 17:

Ronald Allen Edgeton Jr., 40, male, of Cedar Rapids, arrested at 6:40 p.m. at the 300 block of Marion Boulevard, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robert David Madson, 23, male, of Cedar Rapids, arrested at 7:29 p.m. at Derek Drive and Midway Drive, charged with drug tax stamp violation, drug distribution near schools or parks and possession of a controlled substance.

Anissa Andreya Lee Brown, 18, female, no address given, arrested at 7:30 p.m. at 3400 Edgewood Road S.W., charged with assault on a peace officer, obstructing emergency communication and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

July 18:

Andrew Michael Thomas, 24, male, of 183 Derek Drive, arrested at 2:10 a.m. at the same location, charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, drug possession in a drug-free zone and promoting a gathering where controlled substances were unlawfully used.

Nikolas Mikel Thomas, 21, male, of 183 Derek Drive, arrested at 2:10 a.m. at the same location, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
