Update: Construction Will Close Traffic on Winslow Road Starting Next Week or Later

Update from the City Engineer: The Winslow Road Closure described below has been delayed until next week or longer. The City will strive to provide a 48 hour notice when it is scheduled to be closed again.

From the City of Marion

On Wednesday  Sept 18th, CR Thunder Construction plans to close Winslow Road from the old Novotny farm house to just south of Par Circle (see map below).  Winslow Road will be closed for approximately 60 days while the road is being reconstructed from a rural gravel cross section with ditches to a paved urban cross section with storm sewer and an 8’ trail on the west side.  About 700’ of Winslow Road will be reconstructed in association with developer Mooney-Engle Bridge Creek Additions.  Winslow Road will be closed to thru traffic from Indian Creek Road to Connection Avenue during the duration of the construction.
