Marion Library Running Contest for a Chance to Win a Nook Tablet

Here's a message from the Marion Public Library from its September Newsletter with a little encouragement to get you to sign up for a library card.

It's National Library Card Sign-up Month, and we're celebrating library cards all month with drawings for three Nook Tablets. There has never been a better time to get yourself a library card than right now. You can sign up no more than one time each day throughout September. You must have a valid library card with fines below $20, and you have to have your card or know your number to enter; staff won't look up your number for you for this contest. This is a great time to get your fines paid off and to check and make sure we have your current contact information, because we'll need to contact you if you win - don't miss out because we have an old phone number or email address. All ages are eligible! Winners will be drawn on Tuesday, October 1. And, if you don't have a card - the sooner you get yours, the more chances you have to win.
