It's a great time of the year for buying produce from the farmers market, and Marion has plenty of opportunities for you to come out and buy from local growers.

2nd Annual Psychic and Paranormal Expo August 10th from 10 AM to 6 PM, the largest gathering of psychic, metaphysical and holistic practitioners to meet in this area will be at the Kirkwood Training and Outreach Services (KTOS), 3375 Armar Dr. Marion Iowa. Practitioners from across the United States will offer their services, including Chris Moon, nationally known psychic medium and paranormal investigator, over 50 experts offering metaphysical and holistic opportunities such as reiki, reflexology, psychic readings, readings by mediums who communicate with deceased persons,ghost hunting teams, vendors of metaphysical merchandise and services, and a representative from the most haunted Bed and Breakfast in America!

3rd Annual Cleaning Up Cancer Carnival (On Patch events calendar)

Fun, affordable, family-friendly event benefiting Time in a Bottle, a local nonprofit organization that cleans homes for families with cancer for free.  Featuring carnival games, bounce houses, giant slide, dunk tank, face painting, food, vendor tables, silent auction, and more!  The dunk tank will be occupied by Tim Dwight and the Cedar Rapids Rollergirls!  Z102.9 will be broadcasting live from 1-4.  Come out and have fun and help us to clean for more families!  Event page on Facebook here:http://on.fb.me/1bNkVh6.
