Police Investigating Homicide in Cedar Rapids

From Cedar Rapids police:

Cedar Rapids, IA -On 6-25-13 at 2316 hours officers were dispatched to a person down call in the 1500 block alley between 5th and 6th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Upon arrival officers located Clifton West, 8-14-78 in the alley. He appeared to have been stabbed. Officers administered aid and West was transported to a local hospital where he later died. 

This is an ongoing investigation.
