Police: Marion Woman Stole Over $10K of Jewelry From Neighbor

The following information was provided by the Marion police. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police arrested a Marion woman after authorities said she stole more than $10,000 worth of jewelry from her neighbor.

Police arrested Melanie Susan Spindle, 49, of 1303 Navajo Drive, and charged her with first-degree theft.

Authorities said Spindle stole the jewelry from her neighbor on May 27. Police said she then pawned the stolen jewels for money.
