• Sports Schedule For Tuesday December 16th (kiwaradio.com) — Sheldon fans can catch tonight’s girls and boys basketball games at Rock Valley on KIWA AM 1550/FM 100.7, with streaming available online. The schedule also includes Sheldon girls wrestling at Ridge View and Sheldon-South O’Brien boys wrestling at Cherokee, alongside a full slate of other regional matchups. 
• Sheldon United Fund Closes In On $20,000 (kiwaradio.com) — Sheldon’s 2025 United Fund drive has raised $19,296 so far, but needs over $10,000 more by year’s end to hit its $30,000 goal. Residents can drop off pledge cards at local banks or mail donations to the Sheldon PO Box, supporting 18 organizations in Sheldon and nearby communities.
• Nancy Ann (Hulst) Wilson (spencerdailyreporter.com) — Friends with Sheldon ties will remember that Nancy first met her husband Mike during Sunday night gatherings on Sheldon’s Main Street back in 1981. The longtime HyVee employee, who later lived and worked around northwest Iowa, passed away December 7, 2025, with a memorial service planned for spring 2026.
