• $221 million ITC transmission line moving forward between Marshall and Linn counties (timesrepublican.com) — Residents in and around Tama should know a $221 million high-voltage transmission line will run through Marshall, Tama, Benton, and Linn counties, rebuilding an existing line from Marshalltown east through Tama County. Construction starts in January near the Tama–Benton county line and is expected to boost long-term grid reliability, support renewable energy access, and strengthen power availability for local homes and businesses.
