1900s Dinner, Storytime With Santa - And More in Urbandale

The Urbandale High School varsity wrestling team heads to Waukee for a match at 7:30 p.m.
The boys swim team heads to Ames for a meet at 5 p.m. 

1900 Farm Dinner
At Living History Farms a horse-drawn wagon carries you to the farmhouse, where the smell of freshly baked rolls and hot cider welcomes you. Enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the warmth of the stove served family style by our historical interpreters. Make room for dessert with a lantern-lit trip outside to our 119-year-old barn. Or stay inside and peruse the 1895 Montgomery Ward catalog and play a game of checkers. After dessert, bundle up for the wagon ride back to your car. Cost is $50. The event is at 6:30 p.m.

Storytime
The Urbandale Public Library hosts Storytime with Santa at 9:30 a.m. Book Babies at 10 a.m. and Family Storytime at 7 p.m.

Craft Group
The Get Creative Craft Group meets from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. at the Urbandale Senior Center.
