Des Moines Woman Accused of Assaulting Urbandale Police Officer

Police said they stopped the 52-year-old woman because her headlights weren't on.

Elise M. Reardon had a bad night in Urbandale May 27.

Urbandale police stopped Reardon, 52, of Des Moines, because her headlights were not on. Once they pulled her over, they suspected that she had been drinking and began to have her perform sobriety tests, said Lt. Rob Johansen.

The police report alleges Reardon became combative and wanted to return to her car and leave before police had her take a breathalyzer test.
