1. School Board Elections Near
Get ready for Tuesday's school board elections by going to the Iowa Secretary of State's polling place finder today to find out where you vote. Those of you who vote at the Walker Johnston Park shelter house will be able to drive there. 3. Rezoning Request Before the City

The Urbandale Planning and Zoning Commission is set to have a short meeting tonight at 6 p.m. in the Β Only one item on the agenda: a public hearing on a proposal to rezone land at 150th Street and Brookview Drive from agricultural use to single-family residential.
4. Strike Up the Band
If you like an old-time band concert, the Urbandale Adult Community Band will have its weekly concert at 7 p.m. at Westover Baptist Church. YouTube has an unusual camera-between-the-knees video of the band performing in the annual Fourth of July parade.
5. Get Comfy at Story Time
Get the kids (2 and older) into their PJs early tonight and take them to Family Story Time at the at 7 p.m. The program lasts 20 to 30 minutes.
