Morning Report: Tweet war, J-Hawks and picket lines

- The Des Moines Register reports that Twitter is suing the Urbandale company Twitad. The company has a network of 27,000 well-followed Twitter users who are paid to promote companies.
- Fourth-ranked J-Hawk volleyball team is 16-2 after defeating Roosevelt last night. Next week they face third-ranked Dowling Maroons. Urbandale's girls swimming team also defeated Des Moines East 119-51 Tuesday, reports J-Hawk.com
- Childcare employees of Urbandale's Imagination and Education Station moved their picket lines to the company's West Des Moines location, blogs Des Moines Register reporter Tiffany DeMasters.
- Expect unseasonably cold temperatures today with lows in the mid-30s tonight as a cold front moves through Iowa. The high today will be about 60 according to the National Weather Service.
