Nine Days Till Christmas: Gifts for the Cyclist

Bike World has some great stocking stuffers.

With this year's lack of snow and mild winter temperatures, the bicyclist on your list could still be riding. Even if he or she isn't, chances are they have a wish list for next spring.

Matt Winter of recommended several reasonably priced stocking stuffers for the cyclist.

The first is light-weight barrier skullcap by Pearl Izumi to wear under your bike Β helmet. It will jeep your head warm without bulk during winter rides. $30.

Also for $10, is a wrench set small enough to fit in any under-the-seat bag. The set has a wrench for just about any repair you need to make on the road.

For a little more money, $40, you can buy a nifty stereo speaker case that straps onto your handlebars. Put your iPod or your smart phone inside the bag and plug it in, attach it to your handlebars and cycle to the beat. (One caveat - it's not waterproof, says Winter.)
