• University Avenue ramp reopening delayed on I-35/80 in Clive and Urbandale (kcci.com) — If you drive I-35/80 near Urbandale, don’t expect the University Avenue ramp to reopen just yet—new traffic issues have delayed it, possibly until the Walnut Creek Bridge project ends in April. The Iowa DOT says crews must fix problems created during ramp reconfiguration before safely reopening, so plan on continued detours and extra travel time for the next few months.
   

• Basketball Recap: Urbandale Has No Trouble Against Ames (maxpreps.com) — Urbandale hoops fans can celebrate a big step forward, as the J-Hawks beat Ames 63-57 after years of struggling in the matchup and have now won three of their last four games. The team sits at 3-3 and quickly turns around to face Ankeny on Tuesday night, while Ames looks to rebound against Fort Dodge.
