Cain Hubbub, White Deer & Trouble in Toyland: 11/30 Urbandale Morning Report

  There was lots of hubbub around Herman Cain's headquarters in Urbandale yesterday: 

• The Des Moines Register broke the story of an inaccurate tweet from the Michelle Bachmann campaign headquarters in Urbandale, which is right across the street from the Herman Cain headquarters , that caused a flurry of media attention.  
• CNN also picked up the story. 
• And myabc5.com reported that Iowa Cain organizers said the campaign still is going strong despite yesterday's allegation that Cain had a 13-year extramarital affair.

• Sad news: A rare white deer, often sighted off Interstate 80 near Baxter has been struck and killed on the road, according to KCCI.com.

 

• Deja vu: A state campaign ethics board again will investigate a complaint of political maneuvering in the 2011 Polk County Supervisors district map that throws the only two Republicans on the board - E.J Giovannetti of Urbandale and Robert Brownell of Clive - into the same district, reports DesMoinesRegister.com.
