Thunderstorms Predicted in Hazardous Weather Outlook for Urbandale

I'm going to need you all to cross your fingers this weekend.

That's because there's a possibility for thunderstorms this afternoon through Saturday night. And, if that's not enough, we might be blessed with some thunderstorms next Wednesday and Thursday.

In fact, the National Weather Service has announced a hazardous weather outlook for the area due to the storms, but, fortunately, the storms are not supposed to be severe.

If the clouds don't rain on our weekend parade, it actually might be lovely outside. And we do need some rain to help crops, lawns and flowers.

The seven-day forecast calls for highs consistently between the upper 80s to low 90s on Monday and Tuesday.
