A morning with Santa - Don't wait in line at the mall, stop by Yost Family Chiropractic to meet Santa and his elves from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Bring in your cooked recipe along with a recipe card and we will pay you to share! All attendees will receive a YFC Holiday Cookbook.

UHS Wrestling - The Urbandale Wrestling team heads to Iowa Falls-Alden for a tournament at 10 a.m. Saturday.

JHS Boys Swimming - The Johnston boys swim team heads to Iowa City for an invitational at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Holiday Storytime - The Urbandale Public Library hosts Holiday Storytime at 2 p.m. Sunday. Take a break from holiday hurry and bring your children, ages 2 and up, to enjoy stories and decorate gingerbread men.

GuideOne ImaginEve!- GuideOne ImaginEve! is Des Moines' premier free, non-alcoholic family New Year’s Eve celebration. The event features awesome inflatable rides and bounce houses, a caravan of clowns, balloon artist, carnival games and prizes, toddler zone, mini golf, dancers and a fireworks finale. This one-of-a-kind family event encourages family members of all ages to participate in a wide variety of activities. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
