Urbandale Basketball Games Will 'Back The Blue'

URBANDALE, IA. — The home opener of the Urbandale High School 2017-18 basketball season will double as Law Enforcement Appreciation Night as the J-Hawks invite all law enforcement personnel to attend at no cost. Six games will be played on "Back the Blue" night.

Urbandale will host Indianola that night. The Urbandale Police Department Honor Guard will present the colors prior to the start of the varsity girls' game and all Urbandale teams in action will be wearing their blue road uniforms.

The game time are as follows:

• 4:45 p.m. — 10th-grade boys and JV1 girls
• 6:15 p.m. — Varsity girls and ninth-grade boys
• 7:45 p.m. — Varsity boys and JV2 girls
