Bids were recently solicited for the 2013 Concrete Street Repair Program. Nine companies submitted bids for this projectΒ andΒ the low bid of TK Concrete, in the amount of $334,692.00,Β was approved by Council.

This bid is $41,748.00 (11.1%) less than the engineer’s estimate of $376,440.00 for the project. The cost savings can primarily be attributed to a lower than anticipated unit cost for the Full Depth PCC Patching for the project.
