Drunken Driving and Drug Charges: Urbandale Police Blotter 2/10

The Urbandale arrests below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions. 

Feb. 1

A 53-year-old man reported that his home was burglarized during the day while he and his wife were at work. Thieves forced their way in through the garage door and took jewelry and credit cards.

Feb. 2

Timothy D. Gibbons, 52, was charged with second-offense drunken driving and speeding on Interstate 80/35.

Alysha N. Steece, 33, of Jefferson, was charged with third-degree shoplifting from Kohls in Merle Hay Mall.

Minnie B. Zolicoffer, 45, of Des Moines, was arrested on charges of possessing drug paraphrenalia after a traffic stop in the 8000 block of Douglas Avenue.

Feb. 3

David B. Fosdick, 53, of Kansas City, MO, was charged with simple assault of a 20-year-old Urbandale man in a parking lot at 4824 64th St.

Feb. 4

A Minnesota pair was arrested while staying at the Sleep Inn, 11211 Hickman Road. Napoleon Long, 25, of Fridley, MN, was arrested on a fugitive warrant. Sarah B. Bauer, 21, of Faribault, MN, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bradley J. Behrens, 22, of Urbandale, was arrested Feb. 4 on charges of possessing drugs and drug paraphrenalia.

John P. Whiteside, 28, of Des Moines was charged on Feb. 4 with being a felon in possession of a firearm at the parking lot of Sleep Inn, 11211 Hickman Road.
