Urbandale Police Blotter Rewinds: Shoplifting, OWI

The Urbandale police reports below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions.

Jan. 26
A 14-year-old girl was arrested for shoplifting at Kohls.

Jan. 27
Kum & Go, 6990 Douglas Ave., reported a woman filled her car with gas and drove off without paying.

Martin Boeckholt, 49, was arrested for driving while revoked.

Christine Christopherson, 32 of Decorah, was arrested for operating while intoxicated. Upon vehicle inventory two bags of marijuana was found in the back seat.

Jan. 28
Rifet Karajic, 35 of Des Moines, was arrested for operating while intoxicated, open container and driving when headlamps required.

An 18-year-old man reported having never received a credit card and charges appearing on the account.

Jan. 29
An 83-year-old man reported receiving unauthorized purchases on his credit card.

Courtney Smith, 29 of West Des Moines, was arrested for violation of a no contact order.

Jan. 30
Kerry Ashley, 62 of Des Moines was arrested for theft.

Mark Schwaderer, 53 of Des Moines, was arrested for harassment.

Jan. 31
Jenifer Winder, 39 of Pleasant Hill, was arrested for shoplifting from Kohls.

Victor Buford, 49 of Altoona, was arrested for theft.
