Volunteers Needed

GIVS is a volunteer organization of men, women, and children who primarily help host monthly social events for Goodwill clients. GIVS volunteers can set their own schedules by volunteering annually, monthly, or weekly. Some examples of GIVS events include: birthday parties, dances, bowling parties, movie nights, Halloween costume parties, Thanksgiving Dinners and Holiday Dinners. If you like to host parties or coordinate events, you’ll love the opportunities that GIVS can offer!

Retail
We are always in need of volunteers to help in our retail stores. Retail volunteers are needed to help sort and organize donations, assist with window displays, and keep Goodwill stores looking nice.  We have even developed special categories to help you get a picture of the kinds of opportunities we have available. Bookworm, Display, Specialist, Treasure Hunter, Housewares Hand, White Glove Patrol

White Collar or Blue…We can always use help from people who are willing to spend some time in our Day Services program helping people with mental illness. If you like to read out loud, play a musical instrument or sing, this is the spot for you. You could also help with games and crafts, or stand in as a chaperone on one of our many field trips.
