• Licensing board levies $10,000 fine on medical director of Waukee spa • Iowa Capital Dispatch (iowacapitaldispatch.com) — A Waukee medical spa’s director has agreed to a $10,000 fine after state regulators said he did not provide the in-person supervision Iowa rules require for medical aesthetic services. Investigators reported he was rarely onsite and often working from another city, leading the Iowa Board of Medicine to issue a warning and civil penalty affecting operations at the Waukee business.
