There are more than 6,000 abortions in Iowa every year. Seventy percent of the women having abortions in Iowa are 19-24 year old Christians who have an average of two years post-high school education and are upper-middle class and insured. It is sad to think about how many babies are dying right here in our own community every day. According to the Guttmacher Institute “95% of women, after having an abortion, said they wish they would have been given more information” and “90% of post-abortive women said knowing what they know now, they would not have had an abortion.”
