Volunteers Needed

Mission Statement or Purpose:  To offer safe shelter to victims of domestic violence and their children as well as provide outreach services to victims living in Polk and Warren Counties.

Volunteer Opportunities Available for Individuals or Families: 

For Individuals – Organize and accept donations for our Clothing Closet, assist with office projects or help with childcare for evening groups.

For Groups – Organize our Clothing Closet, Hold a collection drive for needed items such as personal care items or blankets, Provide a one-time meal for our monthly Serenity Seekers group (approx 20-25 people on the 2nd Thursday of the month), or Adopt a client room by providing the labor and materials to paint a client room and put up new curtains and wall decorations.
